On December 6, 2013, Dennis talked about his dislike of Winter because of two accidents he had. One involved him getting hit by a car and breaking both of his legs. Dennis flew into a freezing creek and was dragged out by an off duty police officer. The other incident involved Denny simply falling on a slippery sidewalk and breaking his arm. He went to work at his station and then went to the hospital.
