Federal Minister for Finance & Revenue, Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb, met today with a high-level Dialog Global leadership delegation led by Amb. Ali Jehangir Siddiqui and featuring global leaders from the UK, Austria, Norway, the U.S., Google Jigsaw, Microsoft Xbox, and more.

The Minister highlighted Pakistan’s strong economic reform momentum:
✅ Macro stability achieved over the past 18 months
✅ Upgrades by major rating agencies
✅ Successful IMF EFF 2nd Review & Climate Resilience Program
✅ Strengthened ties with the U.S., China, Saudi Arabia
✅ Launch of CPEC 2.0 with a focus on B2B investments & export-led zones
He emphasized key structural reforms in taxation, energy, governance, and SOE privatization along with technology-driven compliance and efforts to broaden the tax base.
The Minister also discussed progress on pension reforms, energy sector improvements, and Pakistan’s plans to re-enter international capital markets next year, including potential Panda bonds.
With reforms across mining, agriculture, IT, AI, digital infrastructure, pharma, and manufacturing and a strong demographic advantage Pakistan is gearing up for sustained, private-sector-driven growth.
The delegation’s visit reflects growing global confidence in Pakistan’s economic trajectory and opportunities for deeper partnerships and investment.
