The vocal and beat / instrumental version of "Wishing On A Star" from Fresh 4, with vocals from Lizz E. Fresh 4 are a legendary south Bristol collective, which included DJ Krust among their ranks (who would go on to release some bangers on V Recordings in the mid-90s). This track broke into the charts in the UK, and helped get the Bristol sound out to a much larger audience (along with Massive Attack, Smith and Mighty, and Nellee Hooper's work with many huge stars, from Soul II Soul to Bjork and beyond). Their debut album was sadly shelved, but there is a "Lost Tapes" LP from 2015 available - there is a Bandcamp link below, as well as some socials and historical videos/sources to check out.
