Osaka - Street Photography and Tourism with Fujifilm X-E2

In this vlog, we went to Osaka, Japan. We took a ferry from Tallinn to Helsinki, then flew from Helsinki to Osaka. The journey was long, but well worth it. Aside from shooting a few color photos on the first night, I shot the rest of the trip exclusively with black and white using the Monochrome film simulation on my Fujifilm X-E2. For the color photos, I used my 7artisans 35mm lens, but all of the monochrome photos were created using my TTartisan 23mm lens. No film on this trip because I didn't want to deal with some of the hassles. Is this an excuse? Maybe, but I'm very happy with the results I got with digital regardless. I took a lot of street photos, as well as typical tourist photos. Street photography is something I practice almost daily, but it doesn't come across in my typical videos due to the locations. But while in a big city...of course it's gonna be street photography. During our short stay in Osaka, we visited Osaka Castle, Yodobashi camera store, the Namba Yasaka shrine, Shinsekai, Dotonbori, and Shinsaibashi. It was definitely a whirlwind trip, but we can't wait to return to Japan, maybe Osaka again or maybe Tokyo.
