1974 SD-455 Trans Am

21,500 mile "Survivor".
I have owned this SD-455 for 50 years. I purchased in March 1974 from the original owner with just over 1,000 miles on it. He took delivery in November 1973. The current milage is 21,500.
The original owner said he needed to sell because his wife was pregnant, and gas prices had doubled (from $0.35/gallon to over $0.70!). There is no bird on the hood. The original owner told me he did not like it and had it removed as soon as he got the car.

The car is a survivor with few modifications, it has the original paint and the interior is in excellent condition. Only the headliner replaced. For the few modifications I did make, the original parts were retained. Early on, the dealer changed the 3:08 rear end gear used only on SD-455's with air conditioning, to the 3:42 gear. I have the original 3:08 in a box. The exhaust is original, except for crossflow muffler replacement with H-O Racing Specialies crossflow muffler.
