The Fender Vintera II ’60s Telecaster Thinline evokes the resonant, articulate spank that has adorned country, soul, rock, funk and even some adventurous jazz tracks since the model’s introduction in 1968. The semi-hollow body and solitary f hole added another tonal dimension—and a groovy look—to the Telecaster family, and the Vintera II ’60s Telecaster Thinline revives those vintage sounds in a guitar designed with ergonomic updates to satisfy today’s players.

“The Tele Thinline is super lightweight, which means less wear and tear on my body and more stage and studio time,” says “Freaky Rob” Gueringer, who has performed with artists such as Cardi B, Diddy, Megan Thee Stallion and Eminem. “Sound-wise, the Telecaster Thinline gives you a nice, glossy output that really cuts through. I would use this guitar for distortion lines and lead work. It also works very well with reverb and delay effects, as well as distortion pedals—which I really love.”
