The dark nitrocellulose original lacquer is absolutely stunning on this one. This tenor even has the custom ordered high F# key. As many of you know these early five digit Mark VI Tenors are some of the BEST saxophones out there due to their thicker fatter sound that is reminiscent of the end of the Super Balanced Action line. The condition of this tenor is amazing with no dings or dents and has been fully professionally overhauled in our sax shop! The neck does show some evidence of past pull down which has been professionally corrected. The neck however plays and sounds absolutely fantastic and has the matching 56xxx serial number stamping ensuring its originality! To top it off it includes the original Selmer Case and the bottom bow rooster is free from dents!
