Webinar: Introduction to FEBio Studio

This is the video of the FEBio Webinar held on November 20, 2020: Introduction to FEBio Studio. The video starts with a brief introduction on the FEBio project. Then, a demo of FEBio Studio follows. In this demo, we show a typical workflow and setup a structural mechanics problem that aims at simulating an idealized hip joint with prescribed gait kinematics.

The model files used in this webinar are available from the Repository panel in FEBio Studio, under Webinars\Intro to FEBio Studio.

NOTE: When setting up the fixed constraint on the femur in the loading step, make sure to select the x,y,z rotational degrees of freedom, not the displacements, as is shown in the video (around minute 45). This error is what prevents the model from running correctly.
