Ride on a Northern Rail Class 142 Pacer Train 1/8/18

In this video we take a ride on a Northern Rail Class 142 Pacer Train (142013) on a service from Rose Hill to Manchester Piccadilly.

These trains are known as Britain's Most Hated Train due to their Noise levels , Ride Quality and Comfort this is mainly due to their design which is a Leyland National Bus Body on a Railway Freight Wagon Underframe the trains entered service in 1985 and were built by BREL.
All Northern Class 142 Pacer Trains are due to be withdrawn in 2020.
