Over 40 people have been arrested and charged in the ongoing crackdown on illegal water connection. Water and Sanitation Principal Secretary Dr. Paul Rono who led a team from Nairobi Water and Sewerage Company in the crackdown within Nairobi says the offense will attract a fine of 100,000 shillings plus the estimated consumption during the entire period of the illegality.
