Durgapur News: 'Safe Haven For Rapists' BJP Attacks TMC After Medical College Student Gang-Raped

A second-year student of private medical college was allegedly dragged and raped inside hospital premises in West Bengal. The survivor, who hails from Jaleswar in Odisha, is pursuing her MBBS degree at medical college near Shobhapur in Durgapur. Reportedly, the student stepped out of campus on Friday at 8.30 pm with a male friend. Near the campus gate, a man allegedly dragged her to a secluded area behind the hospital and raped her. BJP accused TMC govt of turning the state into nightmare for women's safety through its system of appeasement.
