This is "A day in the life of a REMOTE medical coder". This was my experience working from home. It was nice and it has it positive points. I enjoyed the autonomy that working from home afforded me. You have to have experience already to be working from home. There is a next to zero chance that you will get hired with no previous experience. You will have questions when you are working from home. You must know how to find resources for help. You have to be able to be a self starter and work independently to meet deadlines and goals that are set forth for you. Every remote medical coding company is different.
