IH/Farmall H4 Magneto: Common Problems

Hello all! This video is being done on request. We dive into the H4 magneto that is found on Farmall Letter Series tractors, W-Series tractors, and IH power units. The H4 is a great magneto, simple, and reliable. Special thanks to Connor from ThisOldFarm for allowing us to work on his third magneto!

*** EDIT: I want to clarify something about the impulse that I mis-stated. The impulse dogs remain IN while at slow rotation, and expand OUTWARDS at higher RPM to avoid the dogs catching on the pin in the mount flange. I apologize for having it backwards (lack of sleep, you know)!
