Badami aloo -

6 baby potatoes (peeled, washed , pricked)
1/2 cup almond paste ( badam ka paste )
2-3 slit green chilies
1/2 cup beaten curd
1/4 cup water
1/2 tsp white pepper powder
rock salt to taste
ghee

Method -

On a medium flame heat the ghee , add pricked potatoes, fry them till tender and golden in color, when they are fried remove them and keep aside.
In a kadhai or pan heat 1 tbsp ghee , add slit chilies, cumin seeds, when cumin seeds start changing color , add almond paste , cook it for 30 to 40 seconds, add water , cook for 1 minute , add beaten curd, keep on stirring for 1 minute , add fried potatoes, rock salt , cook for 1 more minute , at last add white pepper powder, mix well , off the flame, transfer into a serving bowl, garnish with almond slices and coriander sprig, serve hot .
