History of Golconda Fort Hyderabad :-
Golconda Fort Originally known as Mankal and built on a hilltop in 1143, this fort was originally a mud fort during the rule of the Rajas of Warangal, later fortified by the Bahmani Sultans between the 14th and 17th centuries and then by the ruling Qutb Shahi dynasty. Was, and is now known as Golconda Fort in Hyderabad.
