Marand is a design, manufacturing, engineering business that supplies into global defence supply chains.

Marand started exporting about 15 years ago and we became more trade focussed. We did some trade missions with the Victorian Government and Federal Government to find some customers around the globe.

The F-35 has given us exposure to global defence primes like BAE Systems and Lockheed Martin. You can't get an engine in or out of of the F-35 without the device that we designed here in Melbourne and exported. That's built more networks for us to take other products to the world.
