For this POV review I test drive the 8th generation of the Toyota Camry, which hit the german market in 2019 and is sold exclusivly with the 2,5-l-VVT-i Hybrid powertrain here. The combustion engine is good for 131 kW (178 PS), while the combined output with the electric engine is 160 kW (218 PS) There are three trim levels (Business, Executive and Luxury) and the Camry starts at a very competitive 39.990 Euro. On other markets such as the US you can also get a regular inline 4 or the 301-hp 3.5-liter V6, a TRD version of Camry and even AWD.
