Turn a photo into an illustration! Antique Engraving effects in Photoshop 2022

This tutorial will make turn a photo into an illustration in Photoshop. The engraving, which belongs to copper print, is drawn by overlapping fine and delicate lines. It is an antique technique and is used for banknote portraits. Create Engraving effects with 4 different parallel line halftones.

Gips strategy: Use wavy lines!
The default halftone is a regular series of dots and lines. By making the pattern wavy, it looks like a detailed line drawn along the shape of the portrait. In the example, four different levels of threshold are used to extract the halftone application area.
