"GARBO" The Divinity Within Humanity | Navratri Special || Parthiv Gohil | Navratri Song

GARBO : The Divinity Within is released on 3rd October 2015.It is of my dream project. The word GARBO comes from the Sanskrit word for womb “Garbha” and so implies life. Traditionally, the dance is performed around a clay lantern with a light inside, called a Garbha Deep. This lantern represents the feminine form of divinity.

Garba is performed in a circle as a symbol of the Hindu view of time. The vessel itself is a symbol of the body, within whom Divinity resides as Garbha Deep. Garba is danced around this symbol to honor the fact that all humans have the Divine energy of Devi within them.

In this modern age, this powerful meaning of the word GARBA has been lost somewhere. Through my song and its video, I want the audiences to reconnect with the power of divine Feminine. I want to re-invent the traditional Garba in a contemporary fashion and reach out to this generation across the world using this video.
