Salvation is a miracle. Here Spurgeon speaks of God’s love as a glorious ‘medicine and miracle’. Sometimes His love is expressed to us through chastening and trials. Our ultimate comfort and hope is in God. His love brings healing and mercy to every condemned soul that seeks Him.
