1 Corinthians 1:22-25
22. యూదులు సూచక క్రియలు చేయుమని అడుగుచున్నారు, గ్రీసుదేశస్థులు జ్ఞానము వెదకు చున్నారు.

22. For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom:

23. అయితే మేము సిలువవేయబడిన క్రీస్తును ప్రకటించుచున్నాము.

23. But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness;

24. ఆయన యూదులకు ఆటంకము గాను అన్యజనులకు వెఱ్ఱితనముగాను ఉన్నాడు; గాని యూదులకేమి, గ్రీసుదేశస్థులకేమి, పిలువబడినవారికే క్రీస్తు దేవుని శక్తియును దేవుని జ్ఞానమునై యున్నాడు.

24. But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.

25. దేవుని వెఱ్ఱితనము మనుష్యజ్ఞానముకంటె జ్ఞానముగలది, దేవుని బలహీనత మనుష్యుల బలముకంటె బలమైనది.

25. Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.
