On 27th June 2024, a landslide occurred at Huladduwa, Getaheththa. 8 houses were completely gone under the muddy rubbles causing no harm to any civilians. Since there were signs of a landslide in advance, people went away from their houses. Because of their vigilance, all in those houses could save their lives. I visited there on the 2nd the July and met some villagers. They showed their anger towards the government for not helping them at this juncture.
