Throwback Game Preveiw for January 4th Mishawaka vs Brazil Game

Mishawaka High School will host Northview High School in a throwback basketball game on January 4th, 2025. This is a celebration for the 100th anniversary of when the teams played in December of 1924. It was the first game ever in the Mishawaka gym known as "The Cave". Brazil High School eventually consolidated to become Northview HS. For one day, they will once again be known as Brazil. The game will feature artifacts and representatives from the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame. Members from the IHSAA will be on hand as both teams will wear throwback uniforms. There will be a special national anthem, a rendition of Back Home Again in Indiana, and discounted prices on tickets that will be sold for $1. The Cave is the oldest active gym in the state. This is one game fans should try to see.
