FMD Live: Ahmed Wahba 2

Ahmed Wahba is a filmmaker, photographer and co-founder and CEO of VisitEgypt (@visitegypteg) and Movement Productions, which is a purpose-driven, creative production agency specialized in photography and filmmaking. Wahba obtained his bachelors degree in Data Analysis from Pepperdine University, California. After graduation, he did an internship in BuzzFeed, which is one of the biggest social media platforms globally. This exposed him to video as a prominent communication tool for creativity and self-expression. He started to explore this medium further with his iPhone and countless hours on YouTube. He wanted to explore filmmaking at a more professional level and so took a film directing course in the last couple of months. In the past year, Wahba has worked on campaigns for the Ministry of Tourism, Beautiful Destinations, Azza Fahmy, EgyptAir and many more. Through Movement Productions, Wahba aims to create an inclusive community for Egyptian content creators. As a creative himself, his goal is to help give Egypt’s diverse destinations the global recognition it deserves.
