Caused by the endless amount of devices deployed in the 5 GHz spectrum, the side lobes of antennas are the main cause for the huge amount of noise everyone has to deal with, or... let their business go in the worst case (but by no means uncommon).

RF elements horns do not have any side lobes, therefore they protect the AP radios from receiving and transmitting interference. Less noise means lower noise floor, higher signal to noise ratio (SNR), higher throughput, and happy customers at the end of the day.
