Fall of Helios - God of War 2 Soundtrack

This suspense song from God of War 2 plays after the Prometheus cutscene, in the fight to test the Head of Euryale, in the spike room puzzle in the Phoenix Chamber, and when returning to the Loom Chamber after fighting Zeus. It also is used in the cutscene after solving the eye puzzle in Destiny's Atrium.

This song also plays multiple times in the other games of the series. In GoW Chains of Olympus, it plays after the cylop fight in Attica, in a fight in the outside area of Temple of Helios, and after the Eos encounter, and it is also used in the cutscene where the sun disappears from the sky. In God of War 3, it plays in the Path of Eos when the wraiths appears. In GoW Ghost of Sparta, it plays after the first fight, and after defeating the lion in the Jails of Sparta.

In this in-game implementation, the song plays twice with no difference (the actual file has the song playing twice; it's not a loop). The loop point is at 3:46. I added the lyrics for the parts I know; the lyrics at the end are unknown. The verse "To telos arhizi" is very common in GoW2 and is used in many songs. The verse "To telos ton thon ine orato" is also used in "Zeus vs Kratos".

In the Chains of Olympus and Ghost of Sparta files, this song has the name "GENSUS1L" (General Suspense 1), indicating it was composed as a general suspense song with no specific connection to any section of the game. The name "Fall of Helios" is not official and I got it from an earlier upload of this track on Youtube. Its ambient and combat counterparts (GENAMB1L and GENCOM1L) are "Exploring the Isle" and "Clash of the Cyclops".

In God of War 2, in the River of the Forgotten section (after the Titan Minotaur fight), there is a similar song that uses the same melody as this.
