Ultralight-Idiot Proof-Fishing Setup For Backpacking

Have you ever backpacked to a mountain lake, seen fish jumping and wished you had rod and line to throw out? I did. What's more I'm a terrible fisherman. And my backpack is full. So I needed something super minimal and super easy to use. This led me to Tenkara Fishing. A very easy, very minimal, Japanese style of fly fishing that is perfect for every backpacker and every fishing skill level. Tenkara Fishing is changing the way I backpack. My hikes are now planned with fishing in mind and I never have idle hands on solo trips. It's brought a whole new element to my outdoor experience and hopefully will bring some extra joy to yours as well.
