北イタリアにそびえるアルプス山脈。そこに絶景の地「ドロミーティ」があります。標高3000mを超える岩山群は、石灰岩の一種であるドロマイトという硬い岩石でできています。ドロマイトは、氷河や雨の侵食に耐えて、天を衝く巨岩の峰が林立する独特な山並みを生みました。絶壁の岩山はロッククライミングの聖地として知られ、世界中のクライマーが、一生に一度は挑みたいと願う憧れの地となっています。山麓には緑豊かな森が広がり、美しい氷河湖も数多くあります。

The Dolomites comprise a mountain range in the northern Italian Alps. It is the Dolomites with a spectacular landscape, and rocky peaks which rise to above 3,000 meters, is made of dolomite, a hard rock of limestone.

The feature of Dolomite is a beautiful landscape with vertical walls, sheer cliffs, and a high density of narrow deep, and long valleys.

The precipitous rocky peaks are known as a sacred place for rock climbing, and climbers from all over the world aspire to challenge them at least once in their lifetime. At the foot of the mountains, there are lush forests and many beautiful glacial lakes.
