Zack Klapman from The Smoking Tire | Can he hover a helicopter?

Zack Klapman has too many jobs. He’s a producer, writer, video editor, podcast co-host, and video host for The Smoking Tire, alongside auto industry icon Matt Farah. Having worked in similar circles and seen Zack’s work I thought it would be fun to drag him airborne for a little question and answer session. Well, that plus some low-level helicopter fun along California’s picturesque coastline.

While flying my helicopter, a 1978 Enstrom 280C, Zack filled me in on his humble beginnings, what drew him to California, and how he forged a thriving automotive journalism career. We also discussed which cars have impressed Zack recently, how a lack of long-term memory affects his job, and how to avoid becoming jaded as a car reviewer.
