So my friend Linda gives me a call one day to tell me about this new eco resin sold at Michaels...what are friends for but to tell other friends what is new at the craft store...
Of course I got online and had to order the kit for pickup that day...Lucky me I had a $10.00 coupon in the bank and there was either a 30 or 40% off sale going on...I was in craft heaven!
I am quite impressed with this eco resin I have to say...a little heavier in weight than the Mix2Mold from Michaels and the Boowannite from Boowan Nicole. Don't get me wrong I love the two products I mentioned but this one has more of a feel of stone then the other two...it mixed up easy as the others and held the mica powder brushed on the best yet out of all the eco's I've used so I do like it a lot, what I'm not so keen on it the price...I do wish the price was a bit less...so I will do something I have been putting off and order the Jesmonite ac100 and see what the hype is all about...it's got a larger price tag then I've been willing to spend but I will pull off the band aid and go for it this week...follow my journey and you will see how I fare in the following weeks...

When using pigments please wear a respirator the particles are so minute you don't see them but they are in the air as soon as you open the jar and go into your lungs and over time will cause respiratory problems and more...

Safety in the Art Room
Keep a fire extinguisher close by when using your torch or any open flame, read manufacturer's instructions and keep a folder with all directions in a place you can easily find if you need it.
Be sure to follow the instructions given by the manufacturer when using any product in your art supply.
Some products require the use of a respirator, be aware of what they are and for what you should use one for.
