JORVIK Viking Festival 2015

Each February Vikings from across the world descend on the city of York, UK, to take part in one of the largest events of its kind; JORVIK Viking Festival.

Based on the ancient Viking feast of Jolablot and taking place during February Half Term, the JORVIK Viking Festival is a celebration of York’s Norse heritage.

Events range from talks and lectures on the latest historical and archaeological discoveries to Viking battle re-enactments and family friendly shows, all leading up to a spectacular finale event!
