Many rare diseases like chronic pancreatitis do not have a cure, yet. Mission: Cure and two innovative biotech companies are working to change this and to improve the lives of pancreatitis patients. Path BioAnalytics and Regenerative Medical Solutions are conducting research to discover a new treatment for chronic pancreatitis and one of its major complications, diabetes.

In this webinar, the medical advancements and research for new therapies related to chronic pancreatitis and diabetes were highlighted in the discussion with Linda Martin, entrepreneur and CEO of Mission Cure Capital alongside 3 guest speakers.

John Mellnik, founder and CEO of Path BioAnalytics, is researching to advance treatment for complex diseases like chronic pancreatitis by identifying drugs that will correct the problems in the pancreas caused by the CFTR mutation.

Tony Kolton, business founder and CEO of Regenerative Medical Solutions (RMS), along with RMS’s Chief Scientific Officer, Dena Cohen are working in stem cell developmental research and pancreatic islet biology to find effective therapies for diabetes, even type 3c diabetes.
