Yaesu FT-891: CW & Voice Memory TX

This video shows how to record CW and voice messages into the Yaesu FT-891. These messages can be recalled for playback during transmit, so you can relax your keying hand and your voice when you need to send repetitive phrases, such as CQ CQ CQ, your callsign, etc. The volume level you hear through the speaker or headphones is controlled via menu parameter 03-01. The audio level sent to the transmitter is controlled via menu parameter 03-02.

Note that the sidetone level for CW is set in the Function menu. It's the Monitor level. Monitor must be enabled for CW mode in order to hear your sidetone.
