This video shows how to easily reset the MAINTENANCE REQUIRED light on a 2011 Lexus RX350 with Push Button Start.

The OIL MAINTENANCE REQUIRED message appears every few thousand miles to indicate it is time to change the oil. After the oil is changed, the message needs to be reset to start a new service interval period. The message will reappear when it is time to change the oil again.

The vehicle in the video is a 2011 Lexus RX350 but the procedure should work for other year RX350s of similar design with Push Button Start, years 2010-2015.

This procedure might also work for other Lexus or Toyota models with Push Button Start, years 2010-2015.

2011 Lexus RX350 with Push Button Start - How to reset the MAINTENANCE REQUIRED light after changing oil:

1. With foot off the brake pedal, press the ENGINE START STOP button two times to turn the car on without starting the engine.
2. Press the ODO TRIP button (lower dash, left of the steering wheel) to select odometer TRIP A.
3. Press the ENGINE START STOP button one time to turn the car off.
4. Press and hold the ODO TRIP button.
5. Continue pressing the ODO TRIP button and press the ENGINE START STOP button two times.
6. Success when zeros appear in the TRIP A odometer and the OIL MAINTENANCE REQUIRED message disappears.
7. Let go of the ODO TRIP button and press the ENGINE START STOP button to turn the car off.
8. You can verify the message has been cleared by pressing the ENGINE START STOP button two times to turn the car on.
9. If no message appears, press the ENGINE START STOP to turn the car off. Done!
