Survival mode is just as the name implies. In Survival, you choose two characters and use them to fight against an unlimited series of enemies. Each match is one round long, and you cannot pause the game. The enemy becomes more difficult as you progress, and it ends once one of your characters is dead. Both characters gain energy between fights as well.
