How to simplify a complex scene | Today in my sketchbook - Episode #19

I’m always looking for ways to simplify when it comes to sketching and painting, especially when the photo I’m working from is quite complex.

Last week I was reminded by another YouTube artist (Koosje Koene) of a method I love to use, starting from one small section and gradually building the sketch outwards.
