Today is the day to celebrate our dads.
I want to make a special mention here for the fathers who are assigned missions away from their families.
Away from the country.
To those parents who didn't come home because they made the biggest sacrifice of all.
Today and every day, let's give thanks and be greatful because we are children with an expensive freedom, paid for with the blood of those fathers and mothers who fought so that their loved ones didn't have to fight.
Many managed to return home, but many dads and "mom-dads" lost their lives in the greater exercise of bringing us freedom.
From the founders until today, we are a nation of great, brave, honorable fathers.
Fathers who loved their families and friends and community more than anyone and anything else.
To those fathers I wish a happy father's day.
