Pujya Gurudev tells us that Aantrik Vinay (Inner Respect) is defined as the emotion that 'I am zero, I am nothing and capable of nothing'. Whatever I am is by Guru's Blessings '.This Param Aantrik Vinay is born not when ego dies but when our beliefs, opinions and intelligence die. Death of Ego can give birth to Namrata(outwardly respect) but not to Vinay (Inner Respect).

Pujya Gurudev further tells us that this feeling of Shunyata (I am zero) can only be born in Guru Sanidhya (Guru's shelter and association). Without it it is impossible for Vinay to be born as it is only in Guru Sanidhya, in Guru's Anushashan(discipline) that the insistence on living as per our buddhi(opinions, thoughts, intelligence) dies.
