Guide to Dank Rare Mini Arcade Consoles! - 8bitjoystick

Ah yes... mini consoles. I am quite a sucker for them. One way to get money out of my wallet and into your pocket is to make a slightly smaller version of a classic game console that I like and have it play classic games from that console.

For the past couple years there have been some various cheap plug in consoles that play retro games on TVs of various levels of quality that started some of the hardware patents on the NES and Famicom started to expire and allow NES on a Chip systems to proliferate without legal threat from Nintendo. Then Nintendo took it to the next level in 2016 when they kicked off a miniature console boom in November 2016 when they made the NES Classic Edition. Since then there have been a plethora of miniature versions of classic game consoles and I have purchased a good amount of them. These miniature consoles are emulation devices made by the actual game companies that made the original systems and are official hardware releases from them..

I am going to be rating these from dank and rare to pumpkin spice basic bro. For the record I like basic bro pumpkin spice but there is just something when that dank obscure retro gaming goodness hits… JUUST RIGHT. (pinch hands, MMMah..chefs kiss)
