This is episode 11 of our It's Time to Run series which is our journey from selling our house to living on the road indefinitely. So far we have visited Arizona, Colorado, Utah, California, and Oregon! Stay tuned for where we go next...

In this episode we spend time in the Napa Valley area. We aren't big wine drinkers, but still wanted to see the beautiful vineyards. Napa Valley itself was nice, but I actually think we enjoyed Paso Robles more?? I know everyone is entitled to their own opinion on it ;). We really don't recommend staying in Fairfield to save some bucks though. IF you do want to stay in a more affordable area near Napa, I recommend the Hampton Inn and Suites Suisun City Waterfront. It is only a little more expensive, but is much safer.

Next we go on the Avenue of the Giants, we visit Eureka, and press on to Redding!

NOTE: We take full blame for choosing a not so great hotel or area to stay in while visiting Napa Valley. We are just giving full disclosure for those that are planning their trip to see the area and may want to find something more budget-friendly. As we said above, staying at the Hampton in Suisun City Waterfront is a better choice and where we would have stayed in hindsight. Definitely worth going if you love wine!
