Trains at Dawlish Sea Wall, Summer Holiday Service - August 2019

An August day at Dawlish Sea Wall on the Riviera Line in Devon. A busy route particularly in summer and therefore one of my favourite locations for filming. Times are changing across the West for train services. With all London trains now formed of IET class 800 or 802's but a number of HST's still around, now on regional services with fewer coaches to free up more units to strengthen services. So still good to see the GW HST's about as well as the Cross Country ones from the North East.
As well as the HST's, look out for Cross Country voyagers, GW Pacers, 150's & of course the IET's. Also includes a shot at Dawlish Warren, Newton Abbot & Plymouth.

It was quite windy this day, so apologies for the shaky footage in places, I didn't have my tripod with me this day unfortunately. After such a fantastic day filming on the Devon seawall, the day didn't end all too well after a fatality just around the corner near Starcross services in the evening came to a grinding halt and I struggled getting back to London Paddington for quite some time.
