Which Internal Developer Platform feature makes developers say “wow”? We asked the GitLab CTO, and his answer is surprising and practical.

“CI/CD is the thing they need first… but no one really says ‘wow’ to CI/CD. The bits that make them say ‘wow’ recently are AI integrations in CI using AI to understand existing codebases and do things like root-cause analysis. One button can read 4,000 lines of build logs and tell you you’re missing a semicolon in your Dockerfile. We’ve all lost hours over that; this little bit of help is lovely.”
