Today my model is a richly colored and layered fall leaf painting embellished with gold, and I'm going to paint a version with late summer or early fall in mind instead. I'll be leaving the background lighter, using softer and warmer colors, and embellishing with white instead of gold.

This is 25 minutes of pure watercolor detox, a way of enjoying putting paint on paper without even needing to worry about being interrupted part way through!
