BRO(Border Road Organisation) has done a fabulous job in creating and maintaining wonderful roads from Rampur to Nako. My Salute to them.

First we reached the iconic landmark Rock Tunnel on route to Kalpa(Reckong Peo) in the Kinnaur Region of Himachal Pradesh. Its also called Gateway to Kinnaur. It looked dangerous yet majestic at the same time. The roads are along with Sutlej River to provide a beautiful bike ride experience.

Also remember, to keep a check on your petrol/Diesel when you are travelling from Rampur to Kaza via Kalpa as there are only 2 petrol pumps on the way. The main petrol pump is at Kalpa(Reckong Peo) and next petrol pump(smaller one) is about 60 kms Kalpa(Reckong Peo).

During our journey we crossed Bhabha Nagar, Karcham, Reckong Peo, Pooh, Khab , Namgia and reached Ka via Ka Loops.

Sangam Khab is an iconic bridge where one can witness the convergence of Spiti River and Sutlej River.
