Turn a classic floral hankie into a sweet hankie sachet scented with lavender and embellished with a pretty pearl brooch.

What You’ll Need:
Vintage floral handkerchief, 12″ x 12″ square
Satin ribbon
Vintage brooch
Dried lavender, 3/4 cup
Flaxseed, 3/4 cup
Chamomile essential oil
Bowl
Spoon
Small rubber band
Scissors
Tape measure

Steps
1. Measure out 3/4 cups flaxseed and 3/4 cups dried lavender into a bowl. Mix together. You can use this as the filling as is or add a little more scent with essential oil. To do this, add 10 drops of chamomile essential oil to the mixture and stir.

2. Lay the hankie face down. Spoon the sachet filling onto the center of the hankie. Gather the corners and edges of the hankie tightly together to create a ball. Secure at the top of the ball with the rubber band.

3. Wrap the ribbon around the hankie and finish with a bow. Trim the ends at an angle.

4. Hot glue the brooch to the center of the bow.
