StarGazer - Pypes of Psychosomatis

I'm not even close to an underground-oriented metalhead, but a lot of bands that I like seem to be somewhat more obscure than I feel they deserve to be. Therefore, I'm going to make a few videos to recommend various bands that I think deserve to be better known, starting with Stargazer.

Stargazer is a Death/Black Metal band from Australia, which was right away a good sign (Psycroptic, Devolved, Ulcerate*, Portal, The Berzerker...need I go on?). I haven't been into them for that long, but I'm really digging their latest album, A Great Work of Ages. They're basically a more traditional version of Portal (which makes sense, since two of their members did session work on Lurker at the Threshold and Outre), and they're really creepy and atmospheric while still having some real edge to them. I don't know a whole lot about these guys as people, but their music is awesome, and that's good enough for me.

Ulcerate is actually from New Zealand (which Youtube's spellcheck is convinced isn't a real country. Why must You(tube) be such an Ugly American?) .
