Otaku Arcade Extravaganza is one of South Africa's hugest dance gaming tournament ever to be created throughout South African Dance Gaming history. It will be held on 27 April – 1 May 2024 at KidsCon venue @ Comic Con Cape Town - Cape Town International Convention Centre. We look forward on seeing a diversity of players coming from all different places across South Africa and the world coming to compete in Cape Town. Thank you so much towards our sponsors, graphics design team, team organizers and the South African team for finally making this reality possible that we can all make the most of this opportunity and live the well-deserved life on pursing professional dance gaming in South Africa.

Qualifers uptil Semi Finals were hosted from 27 April till 30 April with the Grand Finale being hosted on 1 May for all divisions: Beginners, Intermediate and Advance. Only top 3 players in the beginner's division can be selected as Grand Finalist to compete at Comic Con's main Stage on 1 May.

So, in short terms, you are being assessed only on ITG technical. DDR is used as a fanbase name since that is how the game is well known for non-players in a mainstream perspective.
