Chasing Water: From Lift Locks to Wild Rapids is this weeks road trip was to the Kirkfield Lift Locks, an extremely interesting place. After exploring around it would be a great place to have a picnic. The grounds are beautiful and there are many benches to sit on to relax or yo luncheon on.

We also went back to the Minden Whitewater Preserve. We have a previous video when we went here in late Spring when the water run off from snow was great. Truth be known we go here often. It is a peaceful place when it is not busy. Another great place to luncheon on one of their many picnic tables.
