Survived KEDARNATH| MJVLOGS

Kedarnath, one of the four dhaams of Uttarkhand, one of the twelve jyotirlinga of Shiva, was successfully ascended by yours truly mother daughter duo. The climb was as difficult as you may imagine, not because it was steep but it was very long, like never ending hike.

Thankyou everyone for all the love and messages for my mother. She did great, but it wasn't as easy for me. Altitude sickness is very scary. It’s because we stayed overnight and it is risky to stay with the sickness. It started in the midnight. It was only the next day we could find the health post and they gave me the oxygen supply. Saw mom being numb and helpless and scared. With full face of fear, I told her, I don’t think I’ll make it.

As being an over thinker, too many thoughts flooding down while being on oxygen up there. The health posts are like a life saver there. Grateful to Indian government for making health facilities accessible even in those places. Nepal ma pani hunu paryo haiii!

If planning to go there, please be cautious of your health and well being. the season is approaching. Go for it!
