This is a video containing pictures of the lengthy build process of a homemade full composite glider with a span of 5500mm / 18ft. The model is called the ADAMAS, and is the brainchild of two gifted Dutch modellers Berrie and Dirk. I participated in their project for the structural calculations, and witnessed the maiden of this fantastic glider. After following Berrie's build of the Supra in 2007/2008, I created a video of his build and the maiden too. You could say this is becoming a tradition. I hope you enjoy the video, I'm afraid it's quite long, but I wanted to include all the available building pictures, and some explanation with it. If you're in a hurry, the maiden is covered at the end of this video. Congratulations to Berrie for finishing his model. You can sense there's quality al over this project. We stil have to wait for the second ADAMAS to be finished, but I'm sure that will create some magical video opportunities.

The maiden flight took place at the flying field of the ELC and VZG at the "Ginkelse heide" near Ede.
